Update 9/5/2024. I’m in a bit of an argument with the person I did something small for. I was very hesitant about doing something nice for them because they serially hurt me. I decided to do it anyway.
I hate the petty squabbles but I decided to let the grudge go. “Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” Next time this person tests me I’m going to view it as just that. A test to see how good I am at keeping my cool. No one gets to me like this person.
