Male and females brains show different areas of high activity. Women have more active brains than men. Specifically women show greater activity is parts of the brain that regulate focus, impulse control, emotions, empathy, intuition, and collaboration. Men tend to show more activity in the visual cortex.

The differences in male and female brains activity also come with an increase in risk for brain disorders. Women are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s, depression, and anxiety disorders. Men are more likely to develop ADHD and anti-social conduct problems making them 14% more likely to have trouble with the law.
